Career Pathways

Literacy Council’s Career Pathways program is an academic support program for students training in one of our designated career pathway fields. It organizes education, training, and other support services to meet the particular needs of each student, accelerating their education and career advancement.

Career Pathways allows students to be concurrently enrolled in a GED, English, or academic support class while pursuing training for a workforce certification.  Students who have already earned a high school diploma or GED are also eligible for this program.  The program is a selective program, but once complete, students will hold a new certification and can be immediately employable.
