ABOUT OUR PROGRAM

• The Literacy Council of Tyler offers free English classes for adult speakers of other languages.
• Classes meet at different times and locations.
• Most classes are available year round.
• Students work in small groups or classrooms.
• Limited one-to-one tutoring is available.

• Adults 18 years of age and older

HOW TO ENROLL
Call 903-533-0330 to schedule an appointment for enrollment. Either the BEST (Basic English Skills Test) or the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education)will be administered. A short interview will be conducted. This will take one to three hours to complete.
